Social Media and Marketing Assistant
A fantastic Kickstart placement opportunity to join Yorkshire Born Yorkshire Fed as a Social Media Assistant based from home or office near Howden. You will join them initially working 25 hours per week (with flexible hours), on a 6-month Kickstart programme with the hope of becoming a permanent, valuable member of the team. With an additional sales bonus option.
Our company Yorkshire Born Yorkshire Fed delivers weaning workshops to parents about to embark on their weaning journey, The sessions are delivered both online and face to face. We also deliver mum and baby sessions to enable mums to meet other mums and reduce post-natal depression and baby massage classes.
As this position has been created in partnership with the Government Kickstart scheme; helping young people back into work; to qualify for the role, you must be aged between 16 and 24, be currently unemployed and on Universal credit, working with a DWP Work Coach.
As our Social Media Assistant, you will work closely with the Director to create engaging content for the company’s social media accounts. You will be tasked with keeping social media channels and website updated and brand-focused and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with different audiences/potential customers. Across Facebook, instagram and Twitter.
This is a very creative position where you are given the freedom to create and execute campaigns, positioning us as an interesting account to follow and interact with.

Due to the location of the role for meetings and workshops, applicant must have access to a car.
Duties will Include:

Planning, development, and monitoring of the group's social media platforms
-
proofreading blogs.

Work across a range demographics to develop engaging campaigns and content in line with group strategy and key messaging

Discussions with founders to determine outreach strategy and company tone-of-voice for social media
-
Creating engaging post to capture our audience
-
Identifying trending topics and hashtags that match the company culture and branding strategy
-
Determining potential influencers that match the marketing strategy
-
Liaising with team to develop social media images that can be used
Develop list of social media posts for marketing campaigns that is in line with company marketing strategy

Develop and maintain the website (full training given)
Within the role there may be the option to train as an Infant Feeding Advisor.
